Cut Your Business Advertising Costs with Organic SEO
What exactly is organic SEO? It basically means search engine optimization the natural way. It’s getting your website at the top of search engine rankings without paying the search engines for placement and it keeps your website at the top for a long time. So what are the benefits of organic SEO?
People click more on organically optimized websites
Money can buy you anything- even the top position on search results but this often fades fast. You can pay search engines but why pay when you do have relevant content in your website? Websites with mediocre content are the ones that pay and people only click on websites with informative content, hence links appear naturally and if they do appear on their own, it means there is a greater chance of finding the relevant content there.
The search results are long-lasting
This is the biggest benefit of organic SEO. It keeps your website appearing on the search result pages for a long time because your website has what the search engines are looking for — relevancy. Relevancy is something you cannot achieve by “tricks” or by paying for it- so looks like money can’t get you everything after all. Relevancy is achieved by constantly generating content that people want to find and consume. As long as your produce relevant content, other websites will link to you and you will be loved by search engines.
Organic SEO builds greater trust
If you are constantly updating your website with new content, then it shows that you really care for what you showcase on your site, your business and it also shows that your business isn’t just for fun sake. With natural content uploaded constantly, it also shows your professionalism and your understanding and experience of the business you are involved in.
It’s quite cheaper compared to paid listings
Competition is tight as many website owners are competing for the same spot-at the top. So you often end up paying a lot just to appear at your desired spot. Website owners pay more in paid listings such as Google Adwords just to come out tops when they don’t necessarily need to do this. Instead of spending all your marketing revenue on pay-per-click services, it is better to get your effort poured into organically enhancing your website pages as it will definitely generate more desired results for you and it will definitely last longer than pay-per-clicks.
There are so many ways with which you can use organic SEO to optimize your website. First, you have to have optimized content. By this, it doesn’t mean nonsensically stuff your web page with keywords and key phrases. Instead, your website has to contain relevant content. Having good content, will give you good links and websites will want to link to you. Also, you can use other attributes such as meta tags. At the end of the day, whatever options you may use, it boils down to relevant, informative content on your site that appeals to your targeted audience.

I swear by SEO. I hate paying for online advertising and avoid it as much as possible. It’s amazing how much traffic (especially targeted traffic) you can gain by ranking well in the search engines.
My blog readers always seem shocked when I mention avoiding paid advertising – how can you promote a business without paying for ads, right? Wrong!
The Internet has radically changed how a business promotes itself. SEO, though time intensive, is extremely effective. Every one of my online businesses relies on it – and so far, it’s paid off!
